Shortages and Damages
The Company will only accept liability for:
a. Signed delivery as DAMAGED or SHORTAGES
b. If possible take photographs with a digital camera and e-mail them to sales@empirebespokefoods.com
c. Return any damaged items to the driver, or keep them to be collected another day
d. Report the credit request to Empire Bespoke Foods Head Office within 1day of the date of delivery
e. Make a note of the reference number given to you, if reporting the request by phone
If you are requesting a credit for any other reason, you should make the request in writing to Empire Bespoke Foods within 24 hours of date of delivery for ambient goods. Any verbal request for credit should be followed up in writing along with the name of the person you spoke to.
The reason that we impose the above conditions is that we can only claim for damages from our transporters within a 24-hour period. This has a direct impact on our costs and in turn to you; your cooperation is therefore extremely important. If you do make a credit request and have not signed the delivery note as “damaged” credits will be refused.
